The nerve supplies sensitively the sole.

4. Injury mechanism:

It comes by pro nation position (drop the longitudinal curvature) of the foot to a pressure damage of the nerve in this range. Also chronic pressure by edge of shoe or fastening is possible.

5. Symptoms:

Trapping feeling and pain within the range under the inside ankle with radiant emittances along the sole and the foot inside up to the toes

- Cooling within the range concerned

- Support of the arch of foot by means of inserts, in order to prevent the hyperpronation position
- anti-inflammtory medicines
- Injections
- Ointments
b) Operational therapy
- with chronic complaints (over 6 months) Neurolyse = opening nerves

9. Physiotherapie/rehablitation:

- Lymphdrainage
- Electrical therapy
- with chronic complaints thermal treatments
- Exercises for the correction of the hyperpronation (putting the foot longitudinal curvature up)
